Background:
The client has owned the hotel for one year. However, previously it was owned by several corporations and had changed hands several times in many years. As a result of this, the client felt some confidence might have been lost as the hotel had not been managed as well as it could have been and therefore the customer service might have suffered.
The Old Manor Hotel is the only one in the area able to offer a 'total package' as far as its ability to accommodate guests, offering several dining experiences and hosting functions in its large rooms, whilst providing customers with beautiful views over the golf course and the river beyond. It was important that the client fully endorsed and communicated this to existing and potential clients, keeping them up to date with current offerings and services.
Although the client had already experimented with a few social media platforms to try and achieve this, it was clear that there was not consistency across the social media used.
The Solution:
In order to move forward a strategy was put in place to ensure consistency across all the social media set up.

Content across all social media was posted regularly, along with links connecting to current offers or packages on their website. News feeds were monitored daily, passing specific messages onto the client that needed his personal attention, resulting in engaging with more potential clients.
Result:
The initial 3 months was successful and helped our client really Kick-Start their Social Media Success after which a smooth hand over was made to enable them to continue to manage and maintain it going forward internally using their own additional resources.
